_{I have really missed teaching icon painting – it’s noticeable now that it’s been so long since the last time. That’s why I have now set up two classes for the summer – one in May and one in July. Both are classes for beginners, where we will paint this icon in May and a guardian angel in July.}

You don’t need any prior knowledge to paint icons, you’ll learn along the way!

A 5-day course costs DKK 3000.

The course is suitable for those who have never painted an icon or perhaps have painted a few. The painting is done on a chalk-treated wooden board with egg tempera colors that we mix ourselves. I primarily teach in tetrachrome, ie we only use 4 colors, which gives a very harmonious result.
We start each morning with a short meditation and prayer, in preparation for the day’s work.

I provide some fruit and coffee and tea for the breaks – bring a good packed lunch.
