Today was the day when my latest icon was finished.
The inscriptions, small repairs and tiny correction were made today.
Now it will dry for some months, before varnishing…
Until then, I enjoy this icon, the first I have gilded with white gold, sinaitic style, certainly not the last!
This icon will be used for teaching, on my next course in iconpainting on the beautiful Faroe island of Mykines, end of this month.
